I really never gave him enough credit; never trusted him enough like he asked me too.
He started calling me his fiance almost immediately after the proposal, "does that sould weird to you? he asked me.
Things like that and, "you are going to be my wife" and "we are only having one wedding" take me by surprise.
I stand in awe of how comfortable he is with this step we are taking.
Maybe because I expected him to be a scared, cornered man like so many are when they finally propose to the women in their lives.
"I've known I have wanted to marry you for quite sometime," he says to me...
...on one knee...
...with the ring in his hand.
