I woke up craving water; craving chilled water with ice floating on the top. I was craving glasses and glasses. Fill up a water bottle, drink it down. Fill it up again, drink it down. Three bottles full before 5am this morning. I made sure to fill it up and bring it with me in the car, along with my coffee. Four bottles full were gone before 6am.
Now, the water is everywhere; in bottles and paper cups lining my desk. And outside. It’s pouring outside. But my body can’t get enough.
I feel like my skin could soak up the puddles forming outside my window.

Hi Christy! I do enjoy reading your journal, here.
I have to say that I know exactly what you are talking about! Sometimes I feel like all I want to do is drink a pool full of refreshing cold water, just let me body absorb it. I think it's because in those instances our bodies are dehydrated--obviously. I forget that just because I consume "beverages" throughout the day, it doesn't necessarily keep you hydrated--and of course, soda keeps you thirsting for more. Water is so essential to your body to keep things flushed throughout your system. You know, often times when we are tired or hungry it is due to lack of water in our bodies...so drink up!
