the rundown

Let me give you a run down of the past seven days:

Friday: The end of tax season and the beginning of a classy new lounge in Danville. B and I were invited to the “Family and Friends” night where the 680’s doors were first opened to a select few. The club was smaller than I imagined, but it was high class, beautifully designed and intimate. We partied there until about midnight.

Saturday: I had to be up and out of my house by seven in the morning, which is way to early for a Saturday morning. I dropped my car off at Big O Tires so that I could have all four tires replaced. My mom picked me up and off we went to our hair appointments. After five hours of being in the salon, we emerged beautifully inspired…to go shopping.
We ate and shopped and I went home exhausted from a very long day. That night was me and B watching movies and relaxing while we had some time.

Sunday: We slept in, then ate out and were at my parent’s house at four for a joint birthday barbeque with close friends of the family. I ate more and opened presents, and actually enjoyed myself even though neither of my siblings were there. I thought it would bother me, but Mike called and wished me a Happy Birthday and Tim…well, Tim did nothing. But after that, we headed over to B’s Aunt and Uncle’s house for the remainder of the evening.

Monday: MY BIRTHDAY! I had a DMV appointment at 10:30 and then IKEA with my mom after that. After some other miscellaneous shopping, I went home to find B home at 3pm…curious, I thought. But come to find out he had taken the day off to prepare my birthday surprises. I won’t go into detail, but I will say that he bought me “karaoke revolution” for ps2 which I am now addicted to. He somehow made it the best birthday I’ve ever had- genuinely.

Tuesday: back to work and running into old work buddies who have just been dumped for no reason by their girlfriend of two years (I’ll go into that later) and I Received beautiful flowers from my Keri.

Wednesday: Work and the VIP opening of the club we went to on Friday. We go, we drink, we socialize and I get a lil tipsy on two long island iced teas (sad, I know).

Thursday: Today, actually. Nothing is going on today, except that I must call steve to confirm plans for tomorrows party. Hmmm…. Maybe tonight I can relax?
