The new year

I've spent money I dont have on Christmas. It hasn't been a white Christmas for me, it's been a plastic one. I have never ever used my credit cards to purchase gifts before, but with all that's been going on in the past three months, I seemed to have no choice. Regardless of the astranomical charges that will show themselves on my next bill, I'm finally looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. January 1 marks the first day that I don't have to pay all our bills anymore. It marks that day that B and I start making plans for ourselves. It is my first New Year that will be completely new. My credit cards will be paid off in three months flat and I will be debt free, which is a feeling I can't wait to get back to. Then, after that initial period, I can finally begin to save- me and B both. I'll be putting away about $500 a month which will eventually be sunk into some kind of money market account. I have to think about this kind of stuff now, before I'm in my thirties and freakin out that I wont be able to retire. The new year also holds a possible new home, either in San Ramon or in Connecticut. There will be newness all around me and hopefully I can retain some of that newness for myself and can trust, and love a little more. The New Year is coming! A fresh start awaits me!
